Andrew James Carey

After earning his Associate’s Degree in Graphic Design & Illustration in 2009, Andy spent the next decade working in various customer and technical support roles, gaining valuable experience in professional communication and both small- and large-scale project operations—all while pursuing freelance creative projects and honing his core artistic skills. Following the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, he decided to return to school to study media arts and pursue his lifelong dream of building a creative career making the kinds of cartoons, games, and films that inspired him growing up. He graduated with a BFA in Animation in the spring of 2024 and released his collaborative senior thesis project, The Adventures of Hare & Bear.

Driven by a deep passion for storytelling, design, visual communication, and self-discovery, Andy hopes to create meaningful work, inspire others, and help people find joy and purpose in their lives.
